Downtown Deland

We are located in the charming historical downtown Deland area. One could get lost in the multitude of specialty shops (contemporary and antiques), the historical museums and tours, art galleries, and above all, the delicious variety of restaurants (there is a place for every palate).

Deland is currently known as "The Athens of South Florida." The reason for this is because Deland captures a precious moment in time.

Downtown buildings are graced with large stoical murals.

The Athens theater whispers of live performances of the past, and the Deland Cultural Arts Center provides enchanting performances of the present.

Step into the home of the man who founded this city, the museum of Henry Deland.

For inquiries about entertainment, business opportunities, simple directions, and to get to know the people who call this great city their residence, stop into the Chamber of Commerce. They are always willing to provide you with the information you need. In fact, our hotel is within walking distance, so you will not travel far.
