Historic Downtown Deland
We are located within walking distance to the charming Historic Downtown Deland, Florida area. One could get lost in the multitude of specialty shops from contemporary to antiques, the historical museums and tours, art galleries, and above all, the delicious variety of restaurants for every palate.

Deland is currently known as "The Athens of South Florida." The reason for this is because Deland captures a precious moment in time. The historic downtown buildings are graced with large stoical murals.

Historical Athens Theater
This beautifully restored theatre, with state-of-the-art production facilities, is the perfect venue for films, concerts, and a diverse array of stage performances and educational events.
Located in the heart of Historic Downtown DeLand, Florida, the Athens Theatre opened in 1922 as a vaudeville and silent movie house.

Museum of Florida Art
Step into the home of the man who founded this city, the Museum of Henry Deland now known as Museum of Florida Art. Museum of Florida Art promotes and showcases Florida Art and emerging and established Florida Artists through exhibitions and educational and interpretive programming made available to a diverse statewide audience of all ages.

Henry DeLand House
The DeLand House Museum was built in 1886 for DeLand's first attorney, Arthur George Hamlin, who also developed the Hamlin Orange. Originally a one-and-a-half story structure, the house was built upon land purchased from Henry A. DeLand, the founding father of the City. At the time, the site extended all the way to Woodland Boulevard and had an orange grove from the house to the street.

Stetson Mansion
The recently restored Stetson Mansion. The Stetson Mansion is Florida's first luxury home and was built in 1886 by famed hat maker and philanthropist John B. Stetson. The estate was the winter retreat of the Stetson's who were known for hosting magnificent parties and gatherings for some of the country's most elite and influential citizens of the "Gilded" era.

The DeLand Mural Walk
Deland has a lovely mural walk through its downtown area. Each mural depicts a different aspect of Deland history. You can gaze at one mural as you stroll along a lovely, shaded path. Two other murals cover complete two-story buildings as you approach the center of town. You can appreciate another mural, which is a large mosaic that shows manatees at play. This mural is located at Mainstreet Grill right in the heart of downtown.
Deland Sky Dive

For the Outdoors:

For the outdoor guest we are located within five miles of three major state parks: Blue Springs State Park, Deleon Springs State Park, and Lake Woodruff National Wildlife Refuge. You can enjoy swimming, snorkeling, scuba diving, canoeing, nature trails, and good ole fashioned picnicking.

Blue Springs is home to the Florida Manatee. Particularly in the winter months, Manatees fill the Blue Springs canal because the water is warmer.

Deleon Springs holds the old Spanish Sugar Mill where you can go for breakfast, and make your own pancakes right at your table.

Lake Woodruff National Wildlife Refuge is a nature trail where you can be sure to spot many Florida creature by the time you leave.
